  • Aquatonomy

Aquatonomy delivers autonomous underwater robotics and AI-powered data solutions for inspecting critical infrastructure and maritime assets—from dams, bridges, and ports to ship hulls. Our robots operate in any visibility to capture high-fidelity data and generate live 3D digital twins, replacing slow, risky diver and ROV workflows with faster, safer, and more consistent inspections. Our AI quantifies changes and defect progression over time, enabling a shift from manual, reactive inspections to data-driven predictive maintenance that reduces downtime, lowers lifecycle costs, and extends asset life.

  • Coastal Measures

Coastal Measures operates CUMULUS, a cloud platform that aggregates and standardizes ocean and coastal sensor data. Decisions across insurance, defense, renewable energy, ports, and public safety depend on this data, yet it remains siloed in bespoke systems that block the advanced analytics and AI needed to turn measurements into action. CUMULUS solves this: any sensor can integrate in as little as an hour, and the platform delivers a unified, analytics-ready data stream in real time, fusing public and private sources. The company operates a two-sided model, licensing the platform to sensor vendors and offering subscription access to end users such as insurers, defense agencies, municipalities, and energy operators. CUMULUS is live today with recurring customers and active pilots underway.

  • Smart Seawall Technologies

Smart Seawall Technologies, Inc. is a climate technology company advancing next-generation coastal resilience infrastructure. Our patented system uses engineered geometry to deflect and redirect destructive wave energy, reducing erosion while integrating elegant, context-sensitive design that aligns with both traditional and contemporary waterfronts. Unlike traditional concrete seawalls, our system is designed to support marine biodiversity by fostering habitat formation and ecological recovery, while also targeting up to an 80% reduction in embodied carbon through advanced bio-ceramic polymers. This approach delivers enhanced durability and long-term performance relative to conventional systems. SST operates a scalable, asset-light model by partnering with certified engineering firms and marine contractors to deploy our technologies globally.

  • Hybrid Reefs

Hybrid Reefs (hybridreefs.com) is a deep tech ocean company building the enabling infrastructure layer for coral restoration, coastal resilience, and marine infrastructure through nature inspired biomaterials and reef technologies that accelerate reef self repair and increase coral growth, survivorship, and recruitment at scale. It is building next generation ocean technology that engineers ecosystems from the bottom up, positioning itself as the pick and shovel provider for reef restoration, coastal resilience, and marine infrastructure. They are already working with leading programs globally and gaining early traction across restoration applications and just secured their first VC.

  • ShoreLock

ShoreLock is a nature-based coastal resilience solution designed to manage post-storm beach escarpments and stabilize near-shore sand. Our patented biopolymer technology works by temporarily increasing sand cohesion at the shoreline, helping beaches recover into safer, more gradual slopes after erosion events. Unlike hard infrastructure, ShoreLock is non-permanent, biodegradable, and designed to complement traditional beach nourishment, not replace it. We deliver a cost-effective, scalable solution that improves public safety, protect coastal infrastructure investments, and supports healthier beach ecosystems through a proactive, programmatic approach. Our system is designed for rapid deployment, minimal environmental impact, and long-term effectiveness in dynamic coastal conditions while working with nature rather than against it.

  • Flood Dynamics

Flood Dynamics is a physics-based flood simulation platform developed at MIT and led by MIT engineers. We model how floodwater propagates across terrain and infrastructure over time, enabling institutions to identify asset-level and portfolio exposure before physical impact occurs. Our system moves beyond static flood maps by producing depth, duration, and systemic impairment insights that support credit, insurance, and infrastructure decision-making. Flood Dynamics is focused on making forward-looking physical risk measurable for capital and infrastructure stakeholders.

  • Bluemvmt

Bluemvmt is an AI company solving the data fragmentation problem that plagues maritime and defense sectors. Our Bluemvmt Cloud Platform (BCP) is a revolutionary conversational analytics solution that eliminates the compromise between high-performance computing and cost for a variety of use cases including: environmental monitoring, predictive analytics and digital twinning. Visit us at https://www.bluemvmt.com/ to learn more.

  • Restore Blue

Restore Blue is a software company helping coastal and offshore developers plan biodiversity-positive, resilience-focused projects faster and with greater confidence. Our platform instantly matches project needs with deployable mitigation, restoration, enhancement, and monitoring solutions from a growing database of 200+ technologies, supporting regulatory alignment, reporting and long-term compliance.

  • Bluesonde

Bluesonde is making it easier to access high-quality water data from our lakes, rivers, and oceans by expanding spatial coverage and delivering continuous, real-time insights without the burden of complex deployments or heavy maintenance. We offer low-maintenance, easy-to-deploy water quality monitoring buoys with a compact, fully integrated design and patent-pending UV anti-fouling technology. Our systems stream continuous, real-time data to a cloud dashboard, enabling agencies, researchers, and operators to track water quality, understand environmental change, and make informed decisions with confidence.

  • Coactive Science

Coactive Science is the geospatial AI platform for ocean and coastal resilience, specializing in early detection of sargassum, harmful algal blooms, and invasive species before they reach a shoreline. Our Orbit-OnSite Stack uses hyperspectral satellite data to find emerging hot spots across millions of hectares, then narrows the search to targeted on-site measurements where they matter most. We partnered with DoE national labs on sensors built to operate in the harshest, hardest-to-reach marine environments, closing the loop from orbit to ocean

  • Yaxay

Yaxay is a decision intelligence platform that helps infrastructure operators improve capital planning and prioritize investments with greater speed and clarity. By integrating financial, infrastructure, and climate data into a single system, it enables teams to evaluate trade-offs and make more informed capital allocation decisions across cost, resilience, and efficiency, including energy performance. We are currently working with partners to apply this approach to ports and coastal infrastructure, where operators face increasing climate and operational pressures.

  • Mira Intel

Mira Intel is a structural health monitoring company focused on critical coastal and offshore infrastructure. We use adaptive drone-based inspections to capture data from complex environments and combine imagery and sensor data into a single platform. Our AI analyzes this data to detect damage, track deterioration, and forecast severity over time, with insights delivered through our platform, including interactive 3D digital twins. This helps infrastructure operators understand asset condition and make informed maintenance decisions.

  • RCOAST

RCOAST equips coastal decision-makers — from state and local governments to insurers and risk professionals — with high-resolution data and performance metrics to evaluate how shoreline dynamics and coastal protection investments shape resilience, asset exposure, and financial risk. Using repeated LiDAR, RGB, and multispectral observations paired with advanced coastal analytics, we deliver measurable evidence of mitigation effectiveness — including erosion control, dune growth, beach and vegetation stability, reduced flood pathways, and protection of vulnerable assets. This enables communities, governments, and insurers to identify what works for their specific coastal conditions, optimize mitigation and maintenance strategies, refine underwriting and investment assumptions, and anticipate how coastal risk may evolve — so public and private capital alike can be invested with confidence to strengthen long-term coastal resilience.
