Make a big splash.

For Early-stage startups

How do you take your big idea from concept to profitable, sustainable business? By bridging the gaps of funding and mentorship. Our BlueSwell Incubator does just that, giving you that critical running start at the beginning of your journey.

One of the really exciting things about the BlueSwell program is that the process itself is fun - it’s dynamic, and inspires energy, enthusiasm, solutions and creativity.

Innovation Showcase

Offshore wind, on-target goals.

A competitive and responsible offshore wind industry in the U.S depends on passionate entrepreneurs. Your solutions will help the industry reduce costs, increase efficiency, and mitigate conflict — all while creating new opportunities for the region’s workforce. Past efforts include hosting the IPF’s Startup Alley; running a Startup Showcase with Orsted; gathering industry leaders for a reverse pitch with MassCEC; and organizing a virtual event on decarbonizing maritime.

Gulf of Maine Seafood Sprint

Supporting ocean-to-plate innovations.

The Gulf of Maine Seafood Sprint aims to secure a resilient seafood and climate future for the Maine-to-Boston corridor. SeaAhead and Gulf of Maine Research Institute are partnering to make this region’s seafood business internationally competitive, generate high-quality jobs, and usher in a new generation of blue economy entrepreneurship.

As a part of this program, in partnership with Gulf of Maine Ventures, we developed a Resource Map to connect bluetech entrepreneurs on the East Coast with experts, resources, and institutions to bolster their continued growth and success.
